Our Juniors and Bambini
«Today’s juniors are tomorrow’s LGC members. They live the values of the Lucerne Golf Club, convey them to the outside world in an exemplary manner and communicate them to the next generation”.
The Lucerne Golf Club offers exciting and instructive training opportunities for kids and juniors, tailored to their level, as well as a wide variety of tournaments, seasonal camps and events on and off the golf course. Fun and excitement is guaranteed throughout the season.
In addition to sporting aspects, topics such as “rules and etiquette” and “society” are at the heart of LGC junior work. In order to meet our quality standards, according to LGC guidelines, the number of juniors in the club is limited to 80 and the number of bambinis to 30.
Membership
The membership fees are made up as follows:

In order to be able to take part in the junior training, a corresponding membership is required.
For Bambinis, only the training costs are incurred.

Junior Golf
The basic training is intended for all juniors who enjoy golf and want to learn it. The training sessions consist of technique training, target practice, applied play on the pitch and preparation for competitions.
The weekly training in combination with junior tournaments should cover the normal golf interests of a junior. These juniors are in the “mass sport” area and form the basis for future active members in the LGC. The individual training groups are put together by the responsible pros and the junior captain and the players are divided according to their abilities and their golfing interests. The best players are also promoted and introduced to the Swiss competition scene.
Training costs: from CHF 350.00
Bambini Golf
The Bambini training is designed for children aged 6-9 years. There are three trial training sessions for this, after which a decision will be made about admission. The training is led by trained J+S trainers. In addition to teaching the basics of golf, the focus during the training is on fun and games as well as social contact with the other children. Training is limited to 75 minutes per week.
The change from Bambini to junior training usually takes place at the age of 9 or 10, the decision lies with the pros and the J+S trainers.
Training costs: CHF 350.00
Golf camps
During the spring, summer and autumn holidays, 4-day camps are planned for juniors. In addition to training on the practice facility including driving range, playing on the course and the final tournament, mutual exchange among the juniors is also very important.
Camp costs: CHF 400.00
